Every time you read about Danny it’s accompanied by the statement ‘what a year he’s had’, there’s no getting away from the fact that since 2011 Danny Howard has been on a one way trip to superstardom. In April 2012 he took the helm at the mixing desk of Radio 1’s Dance Anthems to lead the show into a new generation. Listening figures have rocketed, he’s become a household name and Dance Music continues its propulsion into higher popularity.
2012 also brought him into the world of production, a deal with Spinnin saw Danny Howard hit the Top 10 on Beatport, he remix tracks for Chicane, Bingo Players, Example, Cedric Gervais and release a collaboration with Kryder that took the dance floors by storm. By the time he released the solo track ‘Apex’ Danny had firmly planted his footprints in the path to success.
The gigs packed his diary week in, week out. Trips to Las Vegas, Ibiza, Mallorca, Croatia and from coast to coast in the UK to play to hoards of hooked fans. His charisma is unmistakable, his professionalism can’t be ignored but most of all his drive and ambition to reach his goals and achieve his dreams are inspirational. Danny Howard hasn’t been lucky; he means business.
